Kevin Staut’s former success mare Silvana HDC (Corland x Widor) has another heir: Icarus Express HDC by Patrice Delaveau’s 2014 WEG silver medallist Orient Express HDC (Quick Star x Le Tot de Semilly). A surrogate mare gave birth to the colt, and both are doing well reports Haras de Coudrettes on their Facebook page.

Last year, Silvana welcomed Hilvanjo *HDC to the world – by Carinjo HDC.

With Staut, Silvana HDC won the 2014 Rolex Grand Prix in Den Bosch and the 2014 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Paris, the 2013 Gucci Grand Prix, the 2012 World Cups in Stuttgart and in Bordeaux and the 2010 World Cup in Geneva. The pair also has silver medals from both the 2010 World Championships in Kentucky as well as the 2011 European Championships in Madrid.

With Deleveau, Orient Express HDC won both individual and team silver at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy as well as claiming victories in major competitions such as the 2014 Grand Prix of Rotterdam, the 2013 Grand Prix of La Baule, the 2013 World Cup of Helsinki, the 2011 Grand Prix of La Coruna in addition to being on the winning French team in the 2013 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona.
